Washington State University Rowing seeks full-time assistant coach for the 2023-2024 season. Position is an annually renewing 10 month position, August 1st - May 31st. WSU is a Varsity Club program growing in size and success. Position will assist the head coach with the overall management and logistics of the team, the technical and physiological development of current student-athletes, and the recruitment of high caliber future student-athletes. The candidate will also be directly in charge of a portion of the team for the academic year. 1st round of applications by May 30th. Position open until filled. Position provides a full time salary, $30,000 minimum, for the ten month position. Compensation commensurate with skills and experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Youth Program, implementing this direction through an effective coaching program, in addition to coordinating Youth Program operations with the rest of the club, and growing the Youth Program through additional programs and fundraising work. The position reports to the Director of Rowing who develops and implements the overall direction of the club’s adult, youth, and other rowing programs.
