I hope everyone is enjoying the Seattle summer! I am writing to announce that entries for
Tail of the Lake on Sunday, October 4
th are open (the regular entry deadline is Friday, September 25
th).
HereNow Timing will be back again this year and we have a few other additions:
· Men’s and Women’s U17 8+s added to the 3
rd flight. This category is open to anyone who will not turn 17 before 12/31/15.
· Middle school designation and awards in junior sculling (Jr 2x, Jr 4x) and Open 1x events.
o To be eligible for middle school awards, all athletes in a line-up must be enrolled in middle school. The entry must be marked as middle school during the entry submission process on Regatta Central.
A couple of reminders:
· The Novice definition for Tail of the Lake is anyone who has not rowed before
October 4th, 2014. A Master Novice is anyone who has not rowed before
October 4th, 2013.
· For Junior Crews, Varsity-level boats are expected to enter Open, JV enter Junior, and 3V+ enter Junior JV events.
· Visiting teams should contact me for trailer parking and launching assignments. Note, there is construction around the SPU site this year, so the College Club of Seattle boathouse will be an additional launching location.
Lastly, please familiarize yourself with the
General Information Packet and let me know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Cheers,
Caitlin
